How Medical Cost Sharing Works
1. Choose what you share
How many dependents will participate? How much do you want to pay for a Medical Need before asking the Community to share? We call this amount an IUA (Initial Unshareable Amount). See these options below in pricing.
2. Share needs in the community
Every Member opens a Medical Cost Sharing account as the first step in this process. This is the place where you deposit your monthly Membership Contribution and the place where other Members share with you. When a member has a ‘need’ it is pulled from this community.
3. Pay a different way
Members are cash-pay patients who work directly with their doctor to decide on the best care at the best price. No third parties are involved in this transaction, but you have a supportive Community behind you when you need it most.
Price Transparency
Even in medicine, prices are negotiable. Members present themselves as cash pay patients, Sedera negotiates the price, and reimuburses the member.
Flexibility
Sedera Members build direct relationships with their medical providers. There are no networks, so no one is in the middle of your healthcare decision-making.

All monthly contributions shown below include a Primary365+ membership along with a Sedera SELECT+ membership paid separately. Primary365+ EO is $110 per month. Primary365+ ES is $195 per month. Primary365+ EC is $185 per month. Primary365+ EF is $265. Smokers incur a $75 per month surcharge from Sedera.
